Number of abandoned children commonly called “les enfants de la rues”-Street children-are homeless and support themselves because of the social and economic crises in the DRC and the vulnability of their families.
However, despite their daily difficulties, these children, train themselves to become adults.
The question therefore is: How do they see their future and what is their professional dream and ambition?
To this end 495 “enfants des rues” were investigated and their answers to questionnaires indicate that they envisage their future optimistically. - References
